Man kills wife by giving electric shock to her private parts over suspicion of infidelity

Over suspicion of infidelity, a man in Chhattisgarh allegedly killed his wife by giving electric shocks to her private parts. He also transported the body to his in-laws place in Mungeli. The police have arrested the man and questioning him with in connection with the horrific crime.

The murder was allegedly executed at Bhatapara area of Baloda Bazar district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday evening.

Hindustan Times reported that Suresh Niri, a cook in a battalion of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force in Dantewada district, allegedly killed his wife Lakshmi Bai and transported the body to his in-laws place in Pathariya (Mungeli) where the incident was reported on Wednesday.

Assistant sub-inspector, Pathariya police station, PR Jagat was quoted by the daily as saying that Suresh had told his in-laws that his wife died due to ailment but they found some injuries on Lakshmi’s body and reported the matter to the police on Wednesday morning.

Suresh told police that he suspected his wife of having an extra marital affair and on Tuesday he fought with Lakshmi while she was washing clothes and beat her up. “When she became unconscious, Suresh gave electric current to her private parts with a live wire and watched her die”, the police officer was quoted as saying by the daily.

He said that the body has been sent to mortuary for autopsy and the report is awaited.
