58-year-old man murders wife after argument

Gurugram : A 58-year-old man slit his wife’s throat after a heated argument early on Thursday, police said.

A murder case was registered against Ram Mehar, a resident of Gairatpur Bas near Badshahpur here on Sohna road, who is on the run.

Lal Kaur, 55, was taken to a civil hospital by her son Bijender, 27, where doctors declared her brought dead. “The victim died due to excessive blood loss,” said a doctor.

Bijender told police: “My parents often fought over petty issues due to shortage of money in the house.”
