Probe begins into Varanasi flyover collapse
A probe into the collapse of underconstruction flyover in Varanasi in UP that claimed 15 lives began on Wednesday, officials said.
A high-level committee constituted by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to probe the incident which also left many injured reached Varanasi to conduct the investigation.
The team visited the mishap site and collected the details of the incident from the district officials. The probe team is to submit its report with the government in 48 hours.

CM Adityanath had arrived in Varanasi past midnight hours and met those injured in the mishap.
Further, an FIR has been lodged under various sections of IPC -including 304, 308 and 427 against the UP Bridge Corporation – the agency which was getting the flyover constructed.
