‘Carry On Jatta 2’ to release on June 1
Mumbai : The second instalment of Punjabi superstar Gippy Garewal’s movie “Carry On Jatta’ will release on June 1.
Gippy, who has starred in films like “Manje Bistre” and “Subedar Joginder Singh”, made the announcement via Twitter on Monday.
“Waheguru di kirpa naal ‘Carry On Jatta 2’ June 1, 2018 nu release ho rahi aa (With the good wishes of Waheguru, ‘Carry On Jatta 2’ will release on June 1, 2018)… Need your blessings,” he tweeted.
“Carry On Jatta” released in 2012. It is directed by Smeep Kang, and also starred Mahie Gill. The film is inspired by the 1989 Malayalam film “Chakkikotha Chankaran” which was already remade in Kannada in 1992 as “Mana Mecchida Sose”.

Big B feels indebted to fans
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan can’t thank his fans enough and feels indebted to them.
Every Sunday, his fans throng the gate of his home to catch a glimpse of the actor.
“The enthusiasm unending and the love so endearing… Thank you,” Big B posted on his blog.
“These hands raised… these friends…these well wishers… these that give so much love… my indebtedness to them… and my love,” added the 75-year-old.
The actor is gearing up for his next big screen outing “102 Not Out”, which is a story about the relationship between a 102-year-old father and his 75-year-old son. Rishi Kapoor plays his son.
The film is slated to release worldwide on May 4.

Discovered filmmaking as I made ‘Masoom’: Shekhar Kapur
Director Shekhar Kapur says he had zero knowledge about filmmaking before he made “Masoom”.
“I discovered filmmaking along the way as I made ‘Masoom’. I hade zero knowledge or experience before that. All my my life I have followed this experience. The best way to learn to do anything is by doing it,” Kapur tweeted on Monday morning.
Released in 1983, “Masoom” told the story of a family man whose everyday domestic life turned upside down when he discovers that he has an illegitimate child from a past affair. It featured Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Supriya Pathak and Jugal Hansraj and Urmila Matondkar as child actors.
