Five Indian nationals have been kidnapped by armed men in the West African nation of Mali, according to media reports. The incident took place on Thursday in western Mali, an area that continues to face jihadist violence and instability.
As per news agency AFP, the abduction was carried out by unidentified armed individuals. A source quoted by the agency said that the kidnapped Indians were employed by a company working on electrification projects in the region.
