Shocking! Five of a family including 3 children, die by suicide

Ahmedabad | A tragic incident was reported late Saturday night from Bagodara village in Bavla Taluka of Ahmedabad district. Five bodies were recovered from a house located close to Bagodara bus station. Apparently, five members of the same family committed suicide by consuming poison. The reason for this grave step is unknown.
In this heartbreaking incident, a man, his wife and their three children died on the spot. The deceased were identified as Vipul Kanjibhai Vaghela (32), a rickshaw driver, his wife Sonal Vipulbhai Vaghela (26), their daughter Karina alias Simran (11), son Mayur (8), and daughter Prince (5).
The family originally hailed from the Devi Pujak Vas area of Barkotha in Dholka and was currently residing in a rented house near the Bagodara bus station. Upon receiving information about the incident, Bagodara police and the 108 ambulance service promptly arrived at the scene. Senior police officials, including the Ahmedabad Rural SP, Dhandhuka Division ASP, LCB PI, SOG PI, and the FSL team, also reached the site to assess the situation. The forensic team collected evidence and police have initiated a thorough investigation into the incident.

It is still unclear why the family took such a drastic step. The police are searching for the reasons behind the suicide and are investigating the case from various angles.
The Ahmedabad Rural SP stated, "This is an extremely tragic and sensitive case. We are examining all possible aspects. There might be economic, social, or other reasons behind the family's suicide, but no concrete cause has emerged yet. The investigation is ongoing and information will be shared as facts come to light."
The bodies of all the deceased have been sent to Bagodara Community Health Center for post-mortem. The incident has left the Bagodara and surrounding areas in a state of mourning and shock.
Local residents mentioned that the family was very calm and there was no indication that they would commit suicide. Meanwhile, the police administration has appealed to the public to avoid spreading rumors and to maintain cooperation.
