Adah happy to debut in Tamil cinema with Prabhudheva
Mumbai : Actress Adah Sharma, who will be seen in “Charlie Chaplin 2”, says she is happy to make her Tamil debut with choreographer-actor-filmmaker Prabhudheva.
On Prabhudheva’s birthday on Tuesday, Adah tweeted: “Happy birthday Prabhudheva. So happy to be making my debut in Tamil cinema opposite you.”
The Tamil film “Charlie Chaplin 2” is a sequel to Prabhudheva’s “Charlie Chaplin” which released in 2002.

Yami roped in for ‘Uri’, wants roles representing today’s girls
Actress Yami Gautam, who has been roped in for Aditya Dhar’s “Uri”, says she has been looking for roles which reperesent the strength and courage of girls today.
Yami will be playing an intelligence officer alongside actor Vicky Kaushal in the film.
“Aditya’s passion about the film is infectious and the amount of extensive research he has done is amazing. I am really thrilled to be part of this film. This is the first time I am playing a role like this. I’ve been looking to do roles like this that represent the strength and courage of today’s girls,” Yami said in a statement.
“Uri” is about the September 2016 attack on the Indian Army’s Uri brigade in Jammu and Kashmir.
Yami will also feature in Shahid Kapoor-starrer “Batti Gul Meter Chaalu”, which is directed by Shree Narayan Singh.

Ajay Devgn’s former co-star wants to work with Kajol
Actor Amit Bimrot, who made his Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn-starrer “Raid”, now wants to work with the actor-filmmaker’s wife and actress Kajol.
“I’m a hardcore Bollywood lover. Acting in films is my passion. After working hard and struggling for the past nine years, I finally got my dream debut in Ajay Sir’s movie. I’m receiving great reviews and feedback for my role,” Amit said in a statement.
“I finally feel that I’m successful now. People are calling me for work now. But I want to work with Kajol who has been my favourite actress. I adore her and wish to work with her in my next project. I would also love to star with Ajay again,” he added.
In “Raid”, which released last month, Amit played a “newly recruited income tax inspector of the 1980s who is working with a senior officer (Ajay)”.
