Man enters classroom, undresses himself, two girl students and urinates, DCW issues notice to police, EMCD

New Delhi | A man allegedly sneaked inside a classroom of a primary school run by the East Delhi Municipal Corporation at Bhajanpura in New Delhi and undressed himself and two girl students. He sexually assaulted them. Before leaving, he also urinated in the classroom before the students, said Swati Maliwal, Chairperson, Delhi Commission for Women (DCW). The shameful incident, took place on April 30 when the students were waiting for their teacher inside the classroom after the conclusion of morning assembly. The man who did the shameful act is yet to be identified.
Maliwal said that she has issued summon to East MCD Commissioner and sent notice to Delhi police in the matter of sexual assault with girl students inside an MCD school. She said that she has asked police to arrest the man who sexually assaulted the girls.

“The Commission has been informed that when the students informed the class teacher and principal about the incident they were told to keep quiet and forget it. An FIR has been registered in this matter. This is a very serious matter and wants immediate action”, Swati said.
She also said that the Commissioner of East MCD has been summoned and notice sent to police to fix accountability in this shameful incident. While the summon was issued on May 4, the East MCD Commissioner has been asked to appear before the Commission at 2 PM on May 6.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police has issued sketch of the man who allegedly sexually assaulted the girl students. The Delhi Police is confident that the accused would be arrested soon.
