7 children, driver killed in bus-school van collision in MP

Atleast seven children were killed when a bus collided with a school van in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district on Thursday morning. The driver of the school van was also killed in the accident.
According to police, atleast eight others were injured in the accident. The students who were killed in the accident belonged to Lucky Convent School in Birsinghpur in Satna district.
“As per reports, as least seven school children travelling in the school van and its driver were killed in the accident”, News agency Press Trust Of India quoted Satna district police chief Santosh Gaur as saying.
The personnel dispatched to Birsinghpur village by the Police Control Room arrived at a scene of screaming and crying children after the head-on collision left four more students in a serious condition.
All the injured were rushed to the district hospital, Gaur added.
