A student of class XII was arrested in UP’s Ayodhya on Monday for allegedly murdering his teacher.
According to the police, the boy aged 17, was in an intimate relationship with the deceased. The two came close over the period of time. They were in relationship for last two years. The woman was married.
DIG, Ayodhya range, AP Singh told mediapersons that the arrested boy and his teacher were in an intimate relationship. He said that the boy wanted to come out of the relationship as he was scared of getting exposed. However, his teacher threatened him to not to do so.

The teacher wanted the boy to continue with the relationship. She used to threaten him about making their relationship public. It was due to this reason that the boy got rid off her, said the senior police official.
He lauded the police team for having cracked the sensational murder case that rocked the Ayodhya city. The teacher who was in her early thirties was murdered on June 1.
