Here’s how Alok Nath’s wife reacted when Vinta Nanda had revealed about her alleged rape

Ever since the #MeToo firestorm has set in, several big names of film and media industry have cropped up but what was the most disturbing of all was rape accusations on actor Alok Nath. Writer-director Vinta Nanda’s has accused Alok of allegedly raping her.

In a new revelation, Vinta recently told Bollywood Life, an entertainment news portal that she had informed Alok’s wife Ashu Singh about her alleged rape by him 20 years ago. “She (Ashu) said she can’t say anything about it.”

In her long Facebook post in which she talked about her alleged rape, Vinta had mentioned about Alok’s wife being her best friend.

“I wrote (on Facebook) to vent out my feelings, a burden which I had carried in my hearts for years”, Vinta told the portal.

She said that she had unfolded her horror story in the 1990s but back then she was not heard then as there was no #MeToo movement.

Meanwhile, Alok Nath’s lawyer has said that the actor is in mental trauma with the accusation. He said that if required, they may take legal action against Vinta.
